About us

In a past life, senior consultant Crawford Currie was a senior technical manager with Motorola, the global telecoms company. While with Motorola, Crawford was not satisified with the standard of the groupware and teamworking tools employed, at great expense, by the corporation. So he did something about it, introducing Motorola to the TWiki application server platform. This platform, and it's successor, Foswiki, are now in use by over 3,500 engineers in Motorola.

For the 6 years since he left Motorola Crawford has been involved in a wide range of groupware consulting projects for companies throughout the world, on behalf of C-Dot.

Crawford is an active and experienced programmer, with over 30 years experience in a wide range of languages and technologies, including C, C++, Java and Perl. He was formerly the most active contributor to the 'TWiki' open source project, and is now very active in 'Foswiki', where he is chairman of the Foswiki Association.

Crawford can often be found in the IRC channel #foswiki on irc.freenode.net
