Crawford Currie

Senior consultant Crawford Currie has over 30 years experience in the software industry. For the first 25 years he worked for a number of employers varying from very large corporations to small startups. In 2002, as a manager frustrated with the standard of the groupware and teamworking tools available (especially their lack of flexibility and high cost), he drove the adoption of open-source wiki solutions by his teams. In 2003, off the back of this success, he started C-Dot Consultants. Since then he has been involved in a wide range of groupware consulting projects for companies, large and small, throughout the world.

As well as being a team-tools evangelist, Crawford is also an active and experienced programmer, with experience in a wide range of languages and technologies. He is the author of numerous patches and plugins for Foswiki (and TWiki), and is a key contributor to the core Foswiki platform. He is currently chairman of the Foswiki Association.

Crawford can often be found in the IRC channel #foswiki on irc.freenode.net
